Flexi-disc frpm Russia Label буд кон

Jonny

A Russian record label, located either in Kaliningrad or Saint Petersburg. Its releases are all unofficial, and are mainly available through Polish record sellers. The name буд кон (sometimes printed as one word: будкон) translates to BUDKON, but has no meaning either in Russian or Polish. буд кон has released hundreds of releases by various bands, since at least the 1990s, and possibly the 1980s, when Russia was still part of the Soviet Union. All буд кон releases are flexis, square-shaped 14 cm × 14 cm (5.5" × 5.5"), and released in various colours: transparent, red, green, yellow, blue, and brown. At least three variations of each release (one transparent and two coloured versions, sometimes three coloured) are issued. The sleeves are black and white computer printouts, usually highly pixelated, with random images that have nothing to do with the band or their music. The thin paper sleeve wraps around the flexi about a third of the way up the back, held in a thin plastic envelope
